Living the dream
Bougie Candles is a labor of love brought to you by me, Teddie. As owner and chief candle maker, my lifelong love of scented candles - as well as all things ‘bougie’ - inspires me with the creative drive to make my dream of offering a luxurious sensory experience at an affordable price a reality.
After several years spent in marketing (while always wearing the mantle of self-professed Candle Queen), I’m excited to finally embark on this journey and bring these quality candles to market. I truly believe luxury should be available to everyone, and should be within everyone’s budget.
Handmade in tiny batches, my candles are created using the finest coconut-soy blend wax, with high-quality fragrances that provide excellent scent throw, using sustainable materials like reusable vessels, lids, and hemp wicks.
Bougie’s motto is: “Your Life Made Luxe”, and I feel our products deliver on that promise. I hope you agree!
Other inspiration
Let’s face it, sometimes life stinks. Literally. Like when you have a dog or two, or a kid or two. Or some of each! Things can definitely get kind of “less than fresh” around the home.
Part of the inspiration for Bougie Candles can be directly related to the other creatures who have shared our house over the years. For better or worse, they’re all family and we love them. We just love them more when we don’t smell them quite as much.
